The Welsh revival of 1904-1905 is an event that I am going to continue to study. Beginning with a youth group and sweeping the country through the vehicle of prayer, it is one of Europe’s most famous Biblical revivals. As a result many were saved even though Evan Roberts did not advertise his meetings to the unsaved. It was primarily a Christian revival. This book was written as an out-growth of that revival by Jessie Penn-Lewis. Very insightful book. Very dangerous territory. Very real enemies. Christians who are interested in more than an hour of church and a “I’m ok, you’re ok” Christian life – brace yourselves and read this book.
